Fernando Alonso heeft woensdag getest in een auto van de Indycar van het team Andretti Autosport. Dit is hetzelfde team waarmee de Spanjaard, die volgend jaar geen Formule 1 meer zal rijden, de Indy500 heeft afgewerkt.
Hij reed op het circuit Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. Alonso heeft ervan genoten. 'Het was een goede dag, het was fun. Ik houd ervan om te testen met nieuwe auto's en om te testen met een auto van de Indycar op een circuit is speciaal. Ik heb geluk gehad dat ik ook in alle condities kon testen; droog, intermediate en nat', laat hij weten.
